By the chapel of the Virgin Mary Axinon (Panagia ton Axinon) on the island's main northern road, the road splits. To the east, it passes Saint Mamas and continues south, reaching the main southern road. To the north, after 300 meters it splits again into 3 branches: the first ends at Saint Irene (Agia Eirini, in the northern part of the island), the second at Saint George (Agios Georgios, northeast), and the third at the little churches of Saint (Agia) Paraskevi, the Virgin Mary (Panagia), and Saint Euthymius (Agios Efthymios). We follow the second path toward Saint George in Vrysi. Around 1.9 kilometers from the intersection, we reach an area with greenery (one of the few on the island): a palm tree (the only one) and a plane tree. Here an abundance of water is expected, and indeed, under the plane is the flowing spring of Vrysi.
