Path Four (4)

The 7-kilometer-long Path Four (4) passes by the small church of the Cross (Stavros) about 4 kilometers north of Chora (following the car road). This point is 2.5 kilometers from the beginning of the path in Chora. From the church of the Cross, Path Four (4) continues north to Drapanos and Livoskopos (a very beautiful beach in the northern part of the island, by the church of Saint Irene, or Agia Eirini), a walk that takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. A second path branches off to the northeast toward Vigla (at 581 meters, the highest peak on the island, at a distance of about 1,000 meters, taking 25 minutes of ascent) and then heads east to the small church of Christ (1,500 meters, or 35 minutes, down the path).
