Church of the Virgin Mary in Dokari

The little church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) in Dokari will be found on Path Two (2), which leads to the ancient city in Kastelli. In the area around the church, there was a multitude of scattered ancient findings, mainly from the Roman era. The most remarkable item is the marble Roman sarcophagus outside the church. On its northern wall, we can see a section of ancient masonry. We will find such artifacts in the whole area from the church in Dokari to the ancient port of Kastelli, Katalimatsa.
