Following the coastal path from Megalos Roukounas, we go to the eastern end of the beach and ascend the ravine for 400 meters until we find the little church of Saint Irene (Agia Eirini). Below us, among red rocks to the south, is the beautiful beach of Katalimatsa. We continue on the path from the church for another 350 meters and encounter a ravine with reeds. We take a dirt road that ends on our right at the church of Saint John (Agios Ioannis). Next to the church, there is a small windmill. From the church, a 150-meter path ends at the little sandy beach of Agios Ioannis. At the edge of it, there is a rock pier that connects to land with a small bridge.
