A point of reference on the southern side of Anafi is the estate with the doctor's house. The house is on a hill above the sea, Flamourou Beach is below it. The western end of the beach ends at a pier with an interesting stone column built on it. Steep cliffs rise above it. The beach is made up of narrow strips of sand below the cliffs. It is accessible from the pier.
