Katsouni Beach

After Kleisidi the coastal path ascends for about 250 meters, passing the little church of Saint (Agios) Athanasios, and then descends to the next beach, Katsouni. To be precise, 400 meters from Kleisidi, the path crosses a ravine, continuing east, a detour to the right along the ravine ends in 200 meters at Katsouni Beach. Many rave about the beautiful beaches in the southern part of the island. Each one has its own beauties, but they are truly all gorgeous sandy beaches--including Katsouni. This is a large beach with fewer people than Kleisidi, since it takes some walking to reach it (about 10 minutes from Kleisidi and 20 to 25 from the beginning of the coastal path).
