Port of Agios Nikolaos

Located in the bay of Agios Nikolaos, the port of Anafi is the seaport of Chora. The small settlement that has developed here is connected to Chora by a 3-kilometer road and a 1.2-kilometer paved path. Anafi generally has no coves that could serve as natural ports. The ancient port of the island (the seaport of the ancient city in Kastelli) was in the location where Katalimatsa Beach is now. Until 1970, the bay of Prassa on the western side of the island was used as a port for small boats.
