Prassa Beach is located in the western part of the island. To reach it, we can take the road that heads northwest across Anafi from Chora. After passing the church of Saint Panteleimon (Agios Panteleimonas) 5.5 kilometers from Chora, we turn left onto a dirt road. After 1.2 kilometers, it ends at the small beach with pebbles and stones. Since Anafi does not have coves that could serve as natural ports, and because Prassa had some appropriate characteristics, until 1970 it was also used as a port for small boats. (However, since it faces northwest, in the summer it is hit by the steady etesian winds that are called meltemia in Greece.)
