On the main road that crosses the island from Dryopida to Agios Dimitrios, 700 meters from the intersection for Kanala, we will see two small churches on either side of the road. On the east side is the church of the Saints Theodore (Agii Theodori), and on the west side, across from it, the church of the Annunciation (Evangelismos), with modern, non-Cycladic architecture. This is a nice place to stop to enjoy the sunset as we return from our swim at one of the island's beautiful beaches.
