Prophet Elias

We will see the little church of the Prophet Elias (Profitis Ilias) on our way to the northwestern part of the island, heading toward Kakovolo. Following the road from Chora (the main town in Kythnos) to Loutra, 600 meters after the power station (DEI), turn left on the first dirt road heading northwest. Continuing to head northwest on the dirt road, we find the church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary (Eisodia tis Panagias) after about 3.3 kilometers. Another 1.5 kilometers down the road, we reach the church of the Prophet Elias below the telecommunication antenna. It has a very beautiful view of the whole island.
