A small coastal settlement in the eastern part of the island with two very beautiful sandy beaches, the main one in front of the settlement, and a second smaller one behind the church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos), the church on the small hill by the beach. On the left side of the bay of Lefkes, we can see the half-destroyed loading bridge that was used to load the iron ore from nearby mines onto ships. Just before the bridge, there is an entrance to the mining galleries.
