Five hundred meters north of the point where the path to the Castle of Oria begins, on Cape Katakefalos, we will find the little church of Saint George (Agios Georgios). It is one of the oldest churches on the island, the church of a monastery that once existed in the area. Old frescoes have survived. There is also a beautiful view of the church from the Castle of Oria.
