Bouleuterion

The Stoa of Antigonus Gonatas, King of Macedonia, forms the northern boundary of the sanctuary of Apollo, to whom this stoa is dedicated. South of the Stoa are five treasuries (oikoi) that housed precious tributes from different cities. South of the treasuries were the administrative buildings of the city, the Bouleuterion or council room, and the Prytaneion, where the executive committee met. Beside them a long, narrow monument with bulls was built at the end of the 4th century BC to house a trireme, the tribute of Demetrius Poliorkitis (or Demetrios Poliorketes), King of Macedonia (Philip V's great grandfather).
