Along the road near Marathi that also leads to Panormos and Agios Sostis, we will see two small churches one after the other, right next to the road. Both churches honor the Virgin Mary (Panagia), locals call the smaller one 'Evangelistraki.' The inscription above the entrance to the slightly larger church of the Virgin Mary indicates that it was built in 1884.
