Southeast of Chora, between Alefkandra and the district of Niochori, we find the lower windmills (Kato Mylous). Facing the sea, the imposing mills are the hallmark of the island, reminding us of the role they played in the economic growth and prosperity of Mykonos, grinding the local grain.
