In the former home of Captain Malouchos in Kastro, we now find the Mykonos Folklore Museum. In the six main exhibition halls open to the public, visitors can admire antique furniture, Byzantine icons, commemorative and decorative plates, embroidered and hand-woven fabrics, manuscripts and printed materials of historic value, and a host of other items related to Mykonian shipping, tradition, and the daily life of the islanders.
