Chora

The capital of Mykonos, Chora is located in the western part of the island. Also called 'Mykonos,' it is the most touristically developed settlement on the island. It attracts millions of tourists from all over the world, especially during the summer. Despite its large number of visitors and its commercial traffic, it retains its traditional character thanks to whitewashed Cycladic houses, labyrinthine alleys, the unique 'little Venice,' traditional windmills, small churches, and picturesque cobbled streets.
