Mycenaean Tomb

In the Aggelika area, at the top of the hill where the Tharroe Hotel is located, we find an important archaeological discovery: a Mycenaean vaulted tomb from the 15th century BC. This circular tomb was dug into the ground, its vault probably collapsed in the 13th century BC. All the burial objects found here are on exhibit at the Archaeological Museum.
