The monastery of the Life-Giving Spring (Zoodochos Pigi) in Xerokampos is a dependency of the monastery of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary (Kimisis tis Theotokou). The icon screen of the church, which was painted by Chios artist G. Louros, stands out. Its design was based on the designs of traditional Psarian embroidery. There is plenty of water in the area (which explains the monastery's name!).
