Saint Isidore

Heading toward the monastery of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary (Kimisis tis Theotokou) from the settlement of Psara on the island's main road, we see that the road splits into three branches 400 meters after Ftelio. To the right (east), the road continues on to the monastery. The branch that heads straight ahead narrows and leads to the old settlement of Xerokampos. To the left (west), a dirt road goes to the church of Saint Isidore (Agios Isidoros), reaching it in 1,900 meters. From the church of Saint Isidore, we can begin some interesting hiking trips around the northwestern part of the island.
