Church of Saint Sophia and the Presentation of the Virgin Mary in Archontiki

Heading north on the island's main road from Archontiki to Ftelio, we can find three churches a short way down small dirt roads to our right: the churches of Saint George (Agios Georgios), Saint (Agia) Sophia, and Saint John (Agios Ioannis). This is the little church of Saint Sophia and the Presentation of the Virgin Mary. Although fenced, it is accessible to visitors. The year 1701 is faintly carved in its inscription!
