Path to the Church of Saint John in Voukolia

From the lower church of Saint Panteleimon (Kato Agiou Panteleimona), we retrace our steps for about 100 meters, then turn left onto the dirt road that heads north. After about 300 meters, the road enters a dry riverbed (which ends at the beach of Limnos, near the churches of Saints Theodore [Agii Theodori] and Saints [Agii] Anargyri). This is not a good road, so we must go slowly. After about 900 meters, the road ends. On a small hill across from us, we see the little church of Saint John (Agios Ioannis) with its characteristic dome. We can reach it by walking along a 200-meter path that starts here.
