A bust in honor of Nikolaos Apostolis, an admiral from Psara who was born in 1770 and died in 1827. In 1810, he founded Psara’s Chamber of Shipping, which was housed in the Konaki - Old School. He participated in many naval battles during the Greek Independence War, with many successes. After the destruction of Psara, he initially went to Spetses, then to Syros, he died in Aegina in 1827. His bones were transferred to the monastery of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary (Kimisis tis Theotokou) in Poros.
