The beach of Kato Gialos is at the southwestern edge of the settlement of Psara, below the hill of Mavri Rachi. Pebbly and sandy, it is exposed to the weather when it is windy. The beach has a beautiful view of the hill with the church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos).
