The path to the little church of Saint Andrew (Agios Andreas), which is northwest of the Monastery of the Virgin Mary the Golden Lioness (Panagia Chrysoleontissa), is part of Path Six (6). The path begins either in the courtyard of the monastery, if the door is open, or just below the monastery's threshing floor. The total distance from the monastery is less than 450 meters, and we can reach the church relatively easily in about 10-15 minutes. We will walk along a small plateau, then climb to the top of the hill of Saint Andrew. As a reward for the relatively laborious climb, we can then enjoy the panoramic view. Here a wooden sign for Path Six (6) tells us that the church of Saint Andrew is 200 meters from this point.
