View of Chora from Kato Chorafi

Kato Chorafi is an area south of Chora (Alonissos), above the beach of Megalos Mourtias. It has several passes and openings (like Megalo Chorafi) that are surrounded by pine and olive trees. Starting in Chora, we can reach it by following the old road to Patitiri. After 900 meters, instead of continuing on the road where it turns left, we go straight on a wide dirt road that ends in 800 meters. Kato Chorafi will be on our left in about 400-500 meters. The area is ideal for revitalizing nature walks through the pine forest, all the way to Patitiri. Behind us, the houses of the Old Town (Palia Poli, Chora) rise up impressively.
