To the Church of Saint John

From the multi-level threshing floor at the entrance of the Old Town (Palia Chora), a short, easy walk begins, moving along the ridge of a low hill. In 400 meters, the path leads us to the little church of Saint John the Baptist (Agios Ioannis Prodromos). The modern church was built on the site of an 18th century church. From the back of the church, a short, steeper path begins that leads us to the road. Here, we show this point, next to a lonely gateway that offers access to an unfenced plot of land. The road is about 350 meters from the threshing floor.
