Heading north on the main road that leads to Gerakas, 4600 meters before arriving there, we find a mountain pass (‘diaselo’ in Greek, as the area there is also called) where there are dirt roads on the right and left. On our right, a downhill dirt and gravel road begins with a sign that points to Kastanorema (at the point we show here). The road descends for 1,200 meters until it reaches the artificial lake that provides the island's water supply. There, behind the building by the dam, is the beginning of Path Fifteen (15), which passes through the Kastanorema Gorge. After approximately 3.5 kilometers and 100 minutes of demanding walking, it ends up at Strovili Beach.
