Mitsou Syrracho

From Chora (Alonissos), we can take the road past the cemetery, which ends after a few meters at a dirt road that branches off in two directions. If we turn left, the road continues for 200 meters and splits again, with the left branch continuing toward Mikros Mourtias and the right branch heading to the southwestern corner of the island. We continue straight ahead (actually, slightly to the right) on the dirt road we find a bit after the cemetery, and after 700 meters we end up directly above a cliff in a landscape of unique wild beauty. We have a wonderful view of the endless blue of the Aegean Sea, the steep cliffs of the southwestern part of the island, and the northern part of Skopelos across the water.
