The Birth of Christ

A single-room 17th-century basilica with a dome in Palia Chora (the Old Town, or Alonissos). There was also an entrance on the northern side that was blocked during renovation of the church. The carved altar screen, which depicts the Twelve Apostles, was moved here in 1964 from the demolished church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos).
