The old threshing floors of the old town of Alonissos are staggered one below the other, like giant steps. They face the mill across from them that they once fed with the wheat that grew at their edges. Nowadays the threshing floors are covered with flat stones. Beside them, paved steps lead up to a path that heads to the little church of Saint John (Agios Ioannis).
