By the harbor for the monastery of Kyra Panagia, across from the pier where boats tie up, a beautiful, peaceful sandy beach looks inviting after the hot sun and fatigue from an ascent to the monastery. The beach is easily accessible by following the coastline from the pier, although you do need to wet your feet in the sea at one or two points along the way.
