The most crowded southern beach on the island, just 1,600 meters south of Chora (Alonissos). In addition to using the main road that starts from Chora, we can reach the beach from Patitiri, taking the road to Marpounda (turning right – west -- at the sign for Megalos Mourtias). The beach has umbrellas and sunbeds, with tavernas and bars behind it, so if you prefer a quiet place, it is better to look for the small beach of Valitsa a little farther west! The area behind the southeastern edge of the beach is called Kato Chorafi.
