Path to Vithisma

To reach the beaches of Megalos Mourtias and Vithisma, follow the road from Patitiri to Marpounda, heading south. 500 meters before the Marpunta Resort, turn right at the sign onto the smooth dirt road to Megalos Mourtias and Vithisma. After 600 meters, we will see a flat area on our right, with a sign on the left indicating a trail to the beach of Vithisma, straight ahead, the road continues toward Megalos Mourtias. Follow the sign on the left for Vithisma. Initially, the path is a poor dirt road, and then it narrows, arriving high above the large, open beach. To descend to the beach, we walk down a path that includes steps formed from pine logs fixed into the steep slope. The trail is a total of 300 meters long.
