Windmill Base

The sturdy base of what used to be a windmill on a plateau 132 meters above sea level, 1,500 meters east of Perdika. Next to it are the ruins of some rough stone buildings and a grassy earthen threshing floor. The country church of the Cross (Stavros) is a few meters to the west. There is a beautiful amphitheatric view of Perdika, Moni Island, and Agistri to the west, the peninsula of Methana in the southwest, and the city of Aegina in the north.
