From a hill near Selinitsa on the provincial road that leads from Gythio to Skala, there is a good view of the wreck of the ship Dimitrios. The rusty ship was abandoned by its owners due to financial problems in 1981. Since then it has been standing at the point where it was driven by water and weather conditions.
