Inner Road from Pygos to Emporio

An inland road that starts in Pyrgos and ends in less than three kilometers at the main road road that connects Emporio with Perissa (1,300 meters west of Emporio). The road begins perpendicular to the main road that crosses through the settlement, near the outer square, heading toward Megalochori. It is a dirt road that is in fair condition, you should go slowly. Starting in Pyrgos, we will come across the little churches of the Archangels (Taxiarches), the Cross (Stavros), and Saint John (Agios Ioannis). 700-800 meters from the beginning, we will see on our right a wooden sign for a path (Path 6), with an arrow pointing toward Megalochori. On the way to Emporio, we will cross through several vineyards, including the vineyards on the estate of the Hatzidakis winery.
