The beautiful cobblestone square of Nicholas F. Giannakopoulos (Platia Nikolaou F. Giannakopoulou), paved with small volcanic stones, in the center of the traditional settlement of Megalochori. Vedema Hotel, a little below, used to be the mansion of the Giannakopoulos family. In this area you will find picturesque restaurants, tavernas, and shops featuring souvenirs and other items appealing to tourists.
