Prophet Elias the Low

At the end of the ridge on the hilltop of Gavrilos, with the impressive series of eight traditional 19th century windmills, we will find the little white church of the Prophet Elias the Low (Profitis Ilias tu Hamilu), not to be confused with the Holy Monastery of the Prophet Elias at the highest point on the island. There is a very beautiful view of the southern part of the island, Akrotiri, Exomitis, and Vlychada.
