In Monolithos, the long beach with black sand and shallow water stands out, it is suitable for families with young children. It is basically a continuation of the long black volcanic beach that starts in Perissa and ends in Gialos, Karterados. On the main beach of Monolithos, there are sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, but to the left you will find many quiet, secluded places. The beach on the left is also called "agria," meaning "wild," because harsh weather hits it more often. Here you can also arrange rentals and lessons in kite surfing, wind surfing, and surfing.
