Union of Santorini Cooperatives

Founded in 1947, the Union of Santorini Cooperatives, or Santo, is now one of the most dynamic cooperatives in Greece, with 1200 members. Santo is committed to the preservation of local tradition and history, the protection of traditional crops, the sustainable agricultural development of the island, and the production of high quality wines and traditional local products from the Santorini Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). The traditional crops of their farmer members guarantee the authenticity of Santo products.
