Kalavryta Noblewoman's Outfit, 1821

On August 13, 2016, this masterpiece of a Kalavryta noblewoman's outfit from 1821, designed after years of study and handmade using the old weaving and sewing method, was presented for the first time at an event in the courtyard of the church of Saint George (Agios Giorgos) in Sopoto (Aroania). The event was organized by the Pankalavrytan Union (Pagkalavrytini Enosi), the Sopotinon Association (Syllogos), and the Municipality of Kalavryta.
