Path to the Church of Christ and Fira Beach

The path to the small church of Christ and Fira Beach heads southwest, starting at the big sign on the main road from Chora to Ano Meria, directly across from the three windmills. It is marked with the two letters FI (from the word Fira). The distance to the church of Christ is 900 meters, and the path is smooth and clean. For the last 150 meters before the church, the trail turns into a beautiful cobblestone path, while Agali Bay stretches out below us (if it is not "drowned" in the morning haze). The white church of Christ overlooks Agali and the Bay of Vathy. From here the trail descends for 600 meters and then moves north along the coastline and higher for 400 meters to the quiet, secluded Fira Beach, meeting there the path that comes from Agali (which is another 500 meters from the beach).
