Spring at Voreina Beach

Next to the church of Forty Saints, 2 kilometers down the road from Chora to Ano Meria, a 600 meter path begins that leads to the very beautiful Voreina Beach. The altitude difference between the road and the beach is 150 meters, as we will notice on our return! The trail is marked with the two letters VR (VR for VoReina, the way that you see all the "new" trails on the island marked). Just before the beach, we will find a natural spring, similar to the Sillaka spring that we will come across farther north in Ano Meria, but smaller. About half way down the path, you will open and close an iron gate for goats.
