Typical well-preserved windmill in Kastro, shortly before the beginning of the road to the Monastery of the Life Giving Spring (Zoodochos Pigi). There used to be other mills in the district of Kastro, as in the district of Chorio, which took advantage of the winds of the Aegean to grind wheat.
