Toward Saint Eleftherios

We will come across the little Church of Saint (Agios) Eleftherios by making a detour of 500 meters, descending from Chora on Path Five (5) toward the small Church of the Second Coming. Our road begins next to the Café Iliachtida. It starts as a small asphalt road that proceeds for 400 meters, but then it is cut off, and cars cannot continue. The worst thing is that it is difficult to turn around; therefore we recommend doing the whole route on foot. At the same place, on our left, we will see the beginning of a 500 meter downhill path that crosses the terraces and reaches the small Church of Saint (Agios) Eleftherios, just above the sea in the northwestern part of the island.
