Path Four (4)

The Greek Company of the Environment and Culture and the Municipality of Sikinos are collaborating to implement the “Paths of Culture” program, selecting and marking a series of routes in order to offer visitors the opportunity to discover experientially the primitive, simple and beautiful landscape of the island. By 2016 they had marked seven trails. Path Four (4) begins at the bus stop in Chorio. It is 6.2 kilometers long, with a hiking time estimated at 2 hours and 20 minutes. Along the way you will see, among other things, traditional windmills and the steps leading to the monastery of Zoodochos Pigi, the Church of the Virgin Mary of Pantohara, the Church of the Holy Trinity, and the beach of Malta. This is the point where the dirt road begins heading from the heliport to the Church of the Prophet Elias.
