Saint Nicholas of the Castle

Inside the castle walls, we find the country church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos), where the process of maintenance and restoration is now underway. It houses some exceptional religious paintings. On your right after you enter, you can see a rare sight: an icon that has been placed upside down, apparently after the stone it is on was transported here from somewhere else.
