Saint Dimitrios

From Gyftika, just 50 meters after we turn toward the heliport, a moderate to bad dirt road heads off to our right. The road ends in 2 kilometers at the church of Saint (Agios) Panteleimon in the area of Pente Pigadia (which means "five wells"). From here we will enjoy a very beautiful view of Pano Chora. About 1,100 meters from Gyftika, a narrow dirt road heads off to the right which leads to the little church of Saint (Agios) Dimitrios in 150 meters. From an altitude of the 400 meters, the church overlooks the Bay of Livadi.
