Holy Apostles

800 meters before reaching the beach of Platys Gialos, take the small dirt road on the right (to the east) to the little church of the Holy Apostles (in 200 meters). The church was thoroughly renovated in 1963 in memory of the parents of the then abbot of the Holy Monastery of the Archangels (Taxiarchon), Averkios Chrysoloras. In the courtyard of the church, we will see a few whitewashed remains from archaeological discoveries.
